Nepal faces Maldives Today in Bangabandhu semi

Kathmandu : Nepal is facing the Maldives Tuesday in the semi final of the Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2016 at Bangabandhu National Stadium Dhaka. The match will start at 5:30 PM BDT. Nepali time of the match will be 5:15 PM, 15 minute earlier than that time.
Maldives is the champion of Group B. The team earned 7 points in Bangabandhu Gold Cup Points Table with 2 win and 1 draw. They beat Cambodia by 3-2 and Bangladesh U23 By 2-0 in the first two matches. Nepal’s latest match against Maldives was friendly match at 23 Aug 2012 where Nepal lost to Maldives with score 2-1. Nepal played two goalless draws and a win against Sri Lanka to reach the semi-finals of a major regional tournament after a long time.

Nepal and Maldives have played 15 times where Nepal side have lost 7 times, drawn 4 times and won 4 times. Eight countries are participating in the championship.
